Olivia HarteOlivia, Livi rather, isn't as hapless as her choice of companions would make her seem. She's just a bit too curious about...well, everything really.
Born middle class, but far too curious for her own good, she's often found wandering the streets in the East End, looking for adventure. Too excitable and too innocent, she can't tell good from bad and will trust nearly anyone who looks nice enough. Her naïveté has gotten her into trouble more than once, it let Cheeky Ned swindle her with her eyes wide open and somehow led to a strange sort of friendship with (and a rather large crush on) Valentine.
Livi's acquainted with a fair amount of the Gents, Mum and Cheeky Ned in particular. Oh yes, and Wilkie too, but he doesn't count.
Quite fanciful, Olivia is full of stories, and believes that Mum is a real fairy boy. She calls him this, and so far no one's had the heart to call her on it.
She wishes that Wilkie would stop butting in her business. After all, she is three days older! Livi thinks that she can take care of herself, despite what Wilkie says, but will grudgingly admit that he's saved her on various occasions, and sometimes isn't so bad.
Reality is a strange thing, and Livi hasn't yet realized that the world isn't as fun or innocuous as it seems, nor is the East End the playful delight that she believes it to be.
