Areas of Influence: There are quite a few criminals in Whitechapel she�s done a good turn for. And enough working girls got a good start in her house that she has a good name among the girls as well. She�s a canny lady, Mrs. C, and she always knows when call in a favour. Though there�s some as would be mighty surprised to find out just how extensive her network of connections really is.

Description: A woman of middle age, going on elderly a bit faster than she would like. Still, even if she�s too old for the flesh trade now no one can say she doesn�t know it inside and out. Brown hair going into steely grey and sharp grey eyes, she has a fine, sensual frame and wide, capable hands. She was a beauty in her youth they say, and remains quite handsome even now, womanly curves hiding a ruthlessness unsoftened by the years. Though no-one could call her pretty anymore, the curt grace of age suits her well.

Reputation: She�s sharp as a tack and as slippery as an eel, even if she does have a soft spot when it comes to her girls. Isn�t much of a soft spot, but it�s there. She likes girls who are as sharp and tough as she is, who can lie and steal a bit if they have to and who don�t mind working hard and taking all they can get. Those who can�t soon learn better, or find themselves in other employment right quick. She�ll tolerate no shirkers or malingerers. Time is money and money is what matters. She�s a businesswoman first and always, and anyone in her employ or out of it had best remember that.

Affiliation: She is affiliated with herself and just her own self, having cut a swath through the opposition in pursuit of a power all her own. Now she has it, she�ll not give it up. She grew up a Shoreditch girl, and everyone knows not a single girl works alone in Shoreditch. Fleeing the system of pimps and rings in Shoreditch, she came to Whitechapel and after many years applied her impressive knowledge about the flesh trade to open her own house. And if very young girls just happen to sell best�well that isn�t her fault, is it? Everyone knows Mrs. C. to be the model of discretion, after all. Discretion sells well, too.

Allies and Enemies: To this day she holds a conflicted hate for Spider and all those surrounding him. She is (mostly) secretly one of his old girls and former confidantes, and to this day will not speak of him at all. Anyone who seriously abuses one of her girls has a good chance of becoming an enemy, naturally, but Fates pity the sorry sot who cheats her, for she�s not afraid to get her hands dirty.
